• What is Cursillo?

  • Cursillo (a Spanish word meaning ‘short course’) is a “way” or spirituality that draws a person deeper into the love of God through sacramental worship, fellowship, prayer, learning, listening, praxis & play! Through these disciplines, Cursillistas (people who have experienced a Cursillo Weekend) endeavour to live out the Lord’s command to “love God, love others and love self” according to the servant leader model of Jesus.

Cursillo then, is a method of supporting and encouraging our lives as ChristiansCursillo in any Diocese begins and continues with the agreement of the Diocesan Bishop.
